There are several ways in which you can think about getting involved in the services that your child receives.
This is when you discuss things with the professionals who work directly with your child or children. These people might be teachers, SENCOs, social care workers, therapists, GPs and mental health workers.
This is when you are involved in a short series of meetings or a one-off event so that Council and the professionals can find out about a specific issue or get help with making a new decision, such as a workshop or a consultation.
This is when you become part of a team made up of Council officers, professionals and parent carers who meet once every couple of months to try and develop long term improvements to services. These meetings generally happen in Warwick.
